The area of Brockway includes Brockway Hot Springs which is a gated and exclusive area of luxury lakefronts with excellent amenities. The surrounding neighborhood, and across the highway are other Brockway neighborhoods with older cabins built in the early days of Tahoe. Brockway Hot Springs actually has hot springs pumped into some of the elegant homes. The architectural style of some properties leans toward an Asian influence or Zen elegance by architect Loring Sagan. The charm of Old Tahoe lives on in the rolling hills of Old Brockway, next door, with beach access and lots of hiking trails nearby. The properties on the other side of Hwy 28 are also adjacent to many hiking trails. This is as close to the Nevada casinos as one can get on the North Shore of Tahoe. Home prices vary depending on location.
